Revealed: When Man Utd could recall in-form Antony if clause was included in £86m winger’s loan transfer to Real Betis

After seeing the Brazilian winger flop at Old Trafford on the back of his £86 million ($107m) transfer from Ajax, the decision was taken to part with the South American’s services during the winter window of 2025. Antony was allowed to link up with La Liga outfit Real Betis on a temporary deal.

Having netted just once through 14 appearances for United this season – with that solitary strike coming from the penalty spot in a Carabao Cup clash with Burnley – Antony has registered three goals through his opening four outings for Betis.
