    Los Blancos have reportedly been 'monitoring' the 25-year-old's contract situation at Liverpool with the defender yet to sign a new deal. With the Reds prioritising a successor to manager Jurgen Klopp, who will leave at the end of the season, 90min reports this uncertainty over the German's replacement has delayed contract talks and Madrid are targeting a reduced fee for the England international.
