It has been suggested that Coleen, who secured a runner-up finish during her spell in the Australian jungle, is being lined up for a £1 million deal that will see her join the panel on ITV show ‘Loose Women’. Said opportunity is said to appeal to the mother of four, who has been putting her family first for several years.
Getty/ITVWayne, though, is not convinced that his wife should be starring on a chat show – with the potential there for more revelations to be made about their private lives. A source has told Heat: “As much as Wayne is proud of Coleen for doing I’m A Celeb, it would be different if she were on Loose Women regularly, talking about their home life and relationship. Of course, she would talk about their marriage if the topic came up, but she would never embarrass him or the boys – she would set clear boundaries. All Wayne wants is a quiet life, so he would rather she didn’t do a show like that, but he won’t stop her.”
Coleen will not be rushing into any decisions regarding her immediate plans, with it yet to be determined what the short-term future holds for Wayne. He is currently based 260 miles away from his wife and kids, having taken the managerial reins at Plymouth, and is supposedly facing sack threats in Devon.

GettyHeat’s insider added: “Doing Loose Women would be quite hard for Coleen at the moment, because Wayne is away and she wants to be there for the boys. Wayne is also under pressure with his job and could be moving back home sooner rather than later if results don’t go his way. Although that would be better logistically, Coleen knows Wayne hates not having anything to do – and that’s when he tends to go off the rails – but they have both agreed it’s her time to shine, and she would love to do a daytime TV show. She’s grown in confidence over the past few years and is happy to share her opinion on lots of subjects. She did I’m A Celeb partly because she wants a career again, so she isn’t ruling anything out.”
As Coleen prepares to return to the UK from Down Under, Wayne is readying his Plymouth side for a crunch home date with Swansea on Tuesday. The Pilgrims, with just 17 points to their name, sit 22nd in the Championship table – inside the relegation places – heading into that fixture.
