Enrique has been sidelining the World Cup-winning forward in the club's recent matches, as he claims that he is preparing the Parisian side for a future without Mbappe. The 25-year-old has all but confirmed his incoming move to Real Madrid next season. The Frenchman will join Los Blancos after years of speculation over his move to his dream club.

When talking on Prime Video after the match, Enrique was questioned about Mbappe, he said [via @GFFN on X]: "It’s always the same questions, it’s so boring, I’m the coach and I make the decisions."
