Thibaut Courtois slammed by mother of love child as £240,000-a-week Real Madrid goalkeeper is told son’s house is 'falling apart'

During his time at Premier League giants Chelsea, Belgian goalkeeper Courtois entered into a relationship with Elsa Izac – who lived next door. Three years after becoming the Blues’ No.1 in 2014, former Versace fashion designer Izac gave birth to a son fathered by Courtois.

In 2020, after leaving west London and heading to Santiago Bernabeu, Courtois was court ordered to pay child support. Izac claims those terms are not enough as she now owes £63,000 in mortgage payments and risks seeing her £3 million ($4m) Wimbledon-based property repossessed.

Izac has hit out at Courtois, who reportedly earns £240,000-a-week at Real Madrid, telling The Sun: "I’m scared the bank will repossess our home and worry whenever someone knocks on the door. I don’t want to find us homeless suddenly. It is not acceptable for me to see Thibaut travelling on private jets, partying in yachts, then leaving his child here in this environment. Surely he can spare a bit more to look after his son?"

Courtois is now married, having tied the knot with wife Mishel Gerzig in 2023. He has an 11-month-old daughter with the Israeli model and two other children from previous relationships. The 32-year-old is tied to a contract in Madrid until the summer of 2026.
