Guardiola and Haaland were seen sharing a light-hearted chat on the training pitch before the City boss jokingly kicked the Norwegian goal machine on his thigh. The reigning European champions are currently preparing to face Spanish giants Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final fixture.

This is the third season in a row that Guardiola's side will take on Carlo Ancelotti's men in the Champions League knockout stages. After being eliminated by Los Blancos in the semi-finals in the 2021/22 season, the Premier League giants took revenge last year by beating Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate.

After facing the 14-time Champions League winners during the midweek at Santiago Bernabeu, the Cityzens will be back in action in the Premier League on Saturday as they take on Luton Town.
