The American told The Athletic: “It’s just a little bit of human nature, but it’s OK, you take the positive and understand that the rest is part of sport. Ultimately, you have to deal with a lot of things that distract you, but you still have to perform at your best. I always feel the better you do, the more you take on, and if you embrace it in the right way, you can use it as a positive.”
Wagner was asked by reporters what his first task will be this morning (Monday), to which he replied: “Figure out how to f***ing win. We need to learn to win at a higher level and we need to find a way to prepare ourselves for an even higher level than that. There’s a lot of work to be done.”
