THE BIGGER PICTURE
Per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are monitoring Diaz's situation at the Spanish capital and might consider bringing their ex-player back to the club. The Rossoneri, however, are in no hurry to complete a transfer for the 25-year-old. Under Paulo Fonseca's tutelage, Milan's attack of Rafael Leao, Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze has performed consistently in the current season, although, they might consider bringing in a cover for the trio.
DID YOU KNOW?
In the three years he spent in Milan, Diaz appeared in 124 matches across all competitions for the club where he scored 18 times and was integral part of the team that lifted Serie A title in the 2021-22 season.
