Inter Miami reportedly ask transfer question as Liverpool's Mohamed Salah heads towards free agency

Egyptian forward Salah has admitted that the current campaign is likely to be his last at Anfield, having won just about everything on Merseyside and helped to put the Reds in contention for another Premier League title. Despite being set to turn 33 this summer, he is still being coveted by clubs around the world.

The expectation for some time has been that Salah will head to the Saudi Pro League once reaching the end of his contract and becoming a free agent. Big-money offers are said to have been readied in the Middle East.

Such a move would see Salah link up with Cristiano Ronaldo, with Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad all expressing interest. It is also being claimed that Al-Ettifaq hope the Steven Gerrard factor – as a Liverpool legend himself – will work in their favour as they join the clamour for Salah’s signature.

CaughtOffside also report that Inter Miami “want to be kept abreast of developments” when it comes to Salah. Barcelona and Juventus form part of that pack, while Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have admitted to being admirers of the Premier League great.

Inter Miami have been heavily linked with Brazil international Neymar, as he looks to reform Barcelona’s fabled ‘MSN’ attacking unit with Messi and Luis Suarez, but Salah is an alternative option that David Beckham and the club’s ambitious ownership team are ready to explore.
