WHAT HAPPENED?
The 22-year-old has been linked with clubs across Europe since starring on loan at Getafe in the 2023-24 campaign. He was named Player of the Year there after registering 10 goals, with the La Liga outfit understandably keen to put another deal in place.

They are considered to sit some way down the recruitment pecking order, with the likes of Juventus, Lazio, Valencia, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid all being credited with interest. United are expected to sanction another move in the summer transfer window, with there no way back for Greenwood at Old Trafford.
