Mason Greenwood to earn Man Utd another €37.5m: Huge transfer offer lodged for Marseille winger - with Red Devils owed 50 per cent

The Red Devils only made £27m ($34m) from their sale of the one-cap England international during the summer of 2024. That deal, which took Greenwood to Stade Velodrome, included a 50 per cent sell-on clause.

With that in mind, United are preparing to cash in once more. According to Fichajes, Greenwood has become the subject of interest from Paris Saint-Germain. They are said to have a €75m (£62m/$79m) bid on the table ahead of the next window opening in the summer.

PSG have been impressed by Greenwood’s exploits in Ligue 1 this season, which have seen him register 14 goals in the French top flight. At 23 years of age, there is still plenty of potential to be unlocked in his game – possibly alongside Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at Parc des Princes.

There is no word on whether Marseille have accepted the approach from their fierce domestic rivals, with there a desire on their part to keep Greenwood in his current surroundings. They have the talented winger tied to a contract through to 2029.

Money talks, though, and they may decide that the approach from Paris is too good to turn down. If they do agree to sell, then Premier League giants United will welcome a much-needed injection of funds into their coffers courtesy of a player nurtured through the Old Trafford academy system.
