Lionel Messi joins Victoria Beckham & Tom Ford for ‘amazing night’ after watching Inter Miami in pitch-side suite

Seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi – who is about to add an eighth Golden Ball to that historic roll of honour – did not figure for the Florida-based outfit in their 2-2 draw with Charlotte FC as he had only recently returned from international duty with Argentina.

While being stuck on the sidelines, with an unfortunate injury now seemingly shaken off, Messi took the opportunity to rub shoulders with other members of the global celebrity A-list. He does not look out of place there, with superstar guests having flocked to see him in action since moving to the United States.

Manchester United and England icon David Beckham helped to make that switch possible, with Messi now mingling with his wife Victoria and legendary fashion designer Ford as he seeks to make the most of what Miami has to offer on and off the pitch. Victoria Beckham has posted an image of Instagram of an “amazing night” spent in the company of two trailblazers from their respective professions.

Messi has stated that he will be back in action on Saturday when Inter Miami bring the curtain down on their 2023 campaign with another game against Charlotte – with the mercurial Argentina having inspired them to Leagues Cup glory this term, but also seen them miss out on a place in the playoffs.
