Leah Williamson parties with ex-Arsenal star Alex Scott during sun-drenched summer holiday for Gunners defender & England captain

Fresh from helping the Lionesses to qualify for Euro 2025, as they seek to defend a prestigious continental crown, Williamson has been making the most of an opportunity to relax and unwind. She has bid farewell to inclement England and headed to warmer climes.

Williamson has been joined by a number of familiar faces on her summer break, with the 27-year-old claiming to have enjoyed “16429 years of friendship” with those by her side. That party includes former Arsenal and England star Scott, who is now a television presenter and pundit.

Scott and Williamson posed for pictures together during an evening out. The Euro 2022-winning star has been spending her days relaxing on floating rafts – having headed out on a luxury boat – and cooling down in hotel swimming pools.

Williamson will be fully recharged in time for the new WSL season with Arsenal. She will be hoping to avoid any setbacks in 2024-25 after working her way back from a serious knee ligament injury that dashed World Cup dreams in 2023.
