Juventus and PSG far from agreement on Randal Kolo Muani transfer as French side's demands revealed

Juventus do not want to waste any time in the transfer market. After securing Jonathan David's arrival on a free transfer, the Turin club's management is dreaming of pairing the Canadian with another French-speaking player: Kolo Muani. The Frenchman, who regained his form at the end of the season with 10 goals and three assists in 22 appearances, remains at the top of their shortlist.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Bianconeri are exploring the possibility of a loan with an option to buy. This solution would have advantages for Juventus' finances, but it does not appeal to PSG at all. In Paris, the cards are on the table: the club wants a straight transfer. There will be no discussions about a multi-stage deal, let alone concessions.

Les Parisiens have set the asking price, and it is well known behind the scenes: €45 million. This figure is well below the €90m spent two years ago to bring Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt, but is considered reasonable by the Parisian club's management. Journalist Nick Semeraro has confirmed that PSG do not want to waste any more time, even if it means playing the competition off against each other.

To avoid any weak negotiations, PSG are considering offering the striker to several European heavyweights, including clubs in the Premier League. The aim is to drive up the bidding. Premier League clubs, which are always well off financially, could tip the scales by offering the desired amount. However, the French forward is keen on continuing in Turin.

For its part, La Gazzetta dello Sport added another piece to the puzzle on Thursday. Internally, Juventus' number one target remains Victor Osimhen. But Napoli's demands are cooling Turin's interest, which is keeping Kolo Muani on standby in case of a deadlock. Meanwhile, Chelsea continue to make moves for the Nigerian striker. According to Italian media, PSG would be willing to accept the loan offered by the Old Lady, provided it includes a mandatory purchase option. It seems like Kolo Muani's future will take some time before a resolution is reached.
