VIDEO: Jude Bellingham goes viral for heart-warming gesture as England star gives disabled mascot his tracksuit in pouring rain at Wembley

As players lined up for the anthems ahead of England's friendly with Belgium, the Real Madrid midfielder spotted that the disabled mascot he was paired with was feeling the effects of a wet night in north west London. After a quick chat, Bellingham stripped his tracksuit top off and covered the young fan in his wheelchair. It was a touching gesture that didn't go unnoticed by viewers on social media.

The gesture struck a chord with viewers as many took to social media to share their admiration for the 20-year-old England ace.

The gesture from Bellingham and several of his England team-mates echoed a similar scene from MLS last weekend after New York Red Bulls players stripped off to help out freezing young fans in inclement conditions in New Jersey ahead of the Bulls' win over a Lionel Messi-less Inter Miami.

The irrepressible Bellingham rounded off what became a disjointed international break for England by scoring an equaliser deep into added time to give the Three Lions a draw against Belgium. Already a leader of the side, Bellingham called on fans to take the positives despite struggling in both of their friendlies ahead of this summer's European Championship.

England's saviour now returns to Spain, where Real Madrid's title run-in begins with a clash against high-flying Athletic Club on Sunday night.
