Jose Mourinho eyeing Arsenal raid! Fenerbahce boss keen to sign Gunners winger this summer with €20m asking price set

According to Turkish outlet Fotospor, Arsenal may be open to parting ways with Trossard, especially with his current contract entering its final year. The Gunners are understood to be considering a sale if they receive an offer in the region of €20 million (£17m/$23m).

Ajansspor also reports that Fenerbahce are intensifying efforts to secure Trossard’s signature. Trossard, who played in 56 matches for Arsenal last season and netted ten goals, has been a reliable squad player under Arteta. However, with new targets lined up, he may not feature as prominently in the upcoming season, making the move to Turkey a potentially appealing option for both club and player.

The potential exit of Trossard coincides with Arsenal’s active hunt for new attackers. The Gunners have placed Sporting CP forward Viktor Gyokeres at the top of their wishlist and are engaged in talks to strike a deal for the Sweden international. Additionally, Chelsea winger Noni Madueke and Crystal Palace’s creative star Eberechi Eze have also been linked with a summer switch to the Emirates.

While Trossard remains high on Mourinho’s shortlist, Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho had also been linked with a potential move to Fenerbahce. However, the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss has reportedly ruled out a deal for the England international after holding conversations with United manager Ruben Amorim.

Having joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023, Trossard has delivered solid performances across two campaigns but has never fully cemented a starting role. With just a year left on his deal and Arsenal entertaining offers, a summer move could mark a new chapter for the 29-year-old. His Premier League experience, combined with his versatility across the front line, makes him a logical fit for Mourinho’s tactical plans.
