Veteran frontman running down contract
Has helped Foxes back to the Premier League
Ker can see benefits to a deal for striker
WHAT HAPPENED?
The former England international is approaching the end of his contract at Leicester. No fresh terms have been agreed as yet with the evergreen 37-year-old, meaning that he could become a free agent in the summer of 2024.
Ker has told SPORTbible when asked if Vardy is a player that may be of interest to Wrexham: “There's nothing to say that Jamie Vardy wouldn't be a great Wrexham player. It's not a name I've had mentioned inside the building before but, you know, age and profile wouldn't put us off.”
