James McClean sends touching message to Andy Cannon after Wrexham star suffers devastating injury in huge blow for Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's side
James McClean sent out a heartfelt message to team-mate Andy Cannon after the Wrexham star ruptured his ACL.
On his Instagram story, McClean uploaded a photo of himself hugging Cannon while celebrating a goal and in the caption he wrote: "You'll be back before ye know it bud, you got this."

Cannon, who had appeared in 28 matches across all competitions in the 2024/25 campaign, was a key player in Phil Parkinson's side. His ACL injury comes as a massive blow for the Welsh side, who are pushing for a third-straight promotion. They are currently third in the league, 10 points behind leaders Birmingham City.
