    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Former Parma coach, Cristian Chivu, wants to bring Bonny to San Siro. Chivu, who joined Inter after Simone Inzaghi left for Al-Hilal, believes in the young prospect, having managed him last year at Parma. Inter have offered €22 million (£19m/$25m) with an additional €3m in bonuses for the French forward, and an agreement is also reportedly in place. However, Stuttgart's involvement can complicate the deal for the Nerazzurri as they look to close the deal as quickly as possible.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Bonny has been an integral part of Chivu's system at Parma, scoring six goals and providing four assists in 37 games in Serie A. The Romanian manager wants to replicate the same system at Inter, and to this end, might also look to bring defender Giovanni Leoni from Parma. The duo were the cornerstone of Chivu's success during his spell at Ennio Tardini.

    WHAT NEXT FOR INTER?

Inter are also reportedly working out a deal with Manchester United for Rasmus Hojlund. The Dane forward is also interested in moving back to Italy, and the Nerazzurri remain the priority destination for him this summer. However, the Italian club will have to spend around €45m (£38m/$51m) to clinch the striker from the Red Devils.
