Son Heung-min is flying again with LAFC as Tottenham fans rue mistake of selling South Korean legend too soon

Son starred once again as LAFC beat St. Louis 3-0 away in the 32nd gameweek of the MLS. The former Spurs captain struck twice - once in first-half stoppage time and again midway through the second half - to seal his team’s fourth consecutive victory. His dazzling display earned him the Man of the Match award and pushed his season record to eight goals and three assists in just eight appearances, and Spurs fans aren't happy that the Lilywhites let him go this summer.

Son’s performances have reignited debate among Tottenham supporters, who feel the forward was restricted under Ange Postecoglou’s system before being sold in the summer. In MLS, the 33-year-old appears rejuvenated - scoring from open play, free-kicks, and counter-attacks while leading LAFC’s title charge. His explosive start has reminded fans of his peak Premier League form, proving he still has plenty left to give at the top level.

With LAFC on a four-game winning run, Son will aim to maintain his red-hot form heading into the final stretch of the regular season. The Black and Gold are currently just four points off the top, and they will be hoping the South Korean's form will help them in the playoffs later.
