Manchester United swooped late in the summer window to secure Lammens after turning away from Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez. The Belgian Under-21 international completed his move on deadline day, describing it as a "dream come true" and the start of "something special". Despite his arrival, Amorim has kept faith in Turkey international Altay Bayindir as his starting goalkeeper.
