Harry Kane has had a 'special development' at Bayern Munich as director explains how English striker 'benefits' from Vincent Kompany's style

  • Kane continues record-breaking scoring streak

The 32-year-old striker has taken the Bundesliga by storm once again, netting eight times and adding three assists in just four league games this season. His hat-trick against Hoffenheim at the weekend pushed him to 13 goals in seven appearances across all competitions. Already Bayern’s talisman, Kane is now just two goals shy of hitting the 100-goal landmark for the Bavarian giants after only 103 outings.

Eberl credits Kompany’s influence on Kane’s game

The Bavarians' sporting director Eberl believes the Englishman's role has grown beyond being a mere goalscorer under Kompany, praising his adaptability and mentality.

In an interview with Sky Sport, he said: "Harry Kane is a player who benefits from Vincent Kompany's style of football. For me, Kane has undergone a development that is special. He doesn't just focus on scoring goals, but on the way he runs for the team and creates chances. Kane is an outstanding personality. He simply wants to be successful and win titles. That's what drives him. And he should continue to do that with us for as long as possible."

  • Bayern’s leader both on and off the pitch

The ex-Tottenham striker has already cemented himself as one of Bayern’s most influential signings of the modern era. Beyond his prolific scoring record, the England captain’s work rate, movement and leadership have been vital in Kompany’s high-intensity system. With rivals strengthening across Europe, Kane’s consistency will be key if Die Roten are to reclaim Champions League glory while maintaining their grip on the Bundesliga.
