Kevin De Bruyne has returned to training with Manchester City and has showcased a bold new hairstyle similar to that of his team-mate Erling Haaland.

WHAT HAPPENED?
De Bruyne's future at City has been in doubt for almost the entire summer, with the Belgian midfielder linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League. However, the 33-year-old has returned to training with Pep Guardiola's side and is boasting a bold, slicked-back hairstyle.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The training session on Tuesday morning also saw the return of other players like Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji and Jeremy Doku. City are going for their sixth-straight Premier League title this season and they will also look to add a second Champions League crown to the club's honours.

De Bruyne's contract is set to expire next summer and while City are keen to offer the Belgian fresh terms, they are only willing to table a short extension. This is reportedly not what De Bruyne wants and he could leave the club for free at the end of the season.
