PSG signed Ramos as part of a significant summer overhaul in their attacking corps, but he hasn't hit the ground running in Paris - failing to break into the starting XI - and could already be on the chopping block, according to L'Equipe.

The Portuguese's signing was reportedly pushed through by football advisor Luis Campos, who had actively pursued Ramos for nearly two years. Luis Enrique, according to the report, had little say in the acquisition, and doesn't view him as an ideal fit for his fluid front three.

Despite his reduced playing time, Luis Enrique has backed Ramos to succeed: "What you see from him is what we ask of him, we need him to provide support. He moves very well. It's true that we're not a team that crosses a lot so maybe we don't see his best statistics, but he's a top player, who does a spectacular job."

The striker could be facing an early exit from Paris. He has been sparingly linked with a loan move to Arsenal, while a convincing offer could see him leave altogether having only made his initial loan move permanent in November.
