WHAT HAPPENED?
The 22-year-old is attracting a lot of interest from European clubs who believe they can secure a deal for a cut-price fee from Manchester United. Greenwood was named Player of the Month for Getafe in December and the Spanish side believe they can compete with the likes of Juventus for his signature in the coming months.

WHAT JOSE BORDALAS SAID
Speaking to Marca about Greenwood's future, Bordalas said: "We haven’t spoken about it yet. He’s in the same situation as the other loanees. When the season is over, it will be time to get down to work to see if Mason will be able to stay another year or not. It will depend on his club and the decision he makes."

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Regardless of the negative media that has surrounded Greenwood, he has proven to be a key player for Getafe this season. The England international scored just five Premier League goals in his last campaign at Man Utd but has settled in well at Spain, recording 14 goal contributions in 30 appearances in all competitions.
