Juventus star Federico Chiesa is reportedly set to sign for Liverpool on a four-year deal in a bargain transfer.

WHAT HAPPENED?
According to Fabrizio Romano, an agreement between Juventus and Liverpool has been reached, the 26-year-old will join for just £11 million ($14.4m) with add-ons, and he will fly to Merseyside later on Wednesday to complete the transfer.
The former Fiorentina ace has scored 32 goals and bagged 23 assists in 131 games for Juventus since making his club debut in 2020. Chiesa has been a regular for Italy over the years and helped his country win Euro 2020 three years ago.

This comes hot on the heels of Liverpool announcing the signing of Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili - although the Georgia international will stay on loan at the Spanish side for the 2024-25 season. Chiesa could even make his Reds debut on Sunday away to Manchester United if this transfer is sealed soon; ahead of the window shutting on Friday night.
