The sad career of Fabio Paim, the youngster Cristiano Ronaldo said was even better than him, has taken a shocking twist

Paim came up through the ranks at Sporting Lisbon alongside Ronaldo, and was touted as a promising player at a young age. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner even claimed that Paim was a better footballer than himself during their youth careers. "If you think I'm good, wait until you see Fabio Paim," Ronaldo has been quoted as saying. However, the Portuguese forward failed to make any sort of dent in world football despite before his career took a nosedive as he ended up being arrested on drug trafficking charges.

The 36-year-old, who had a loan spell at Chelsea, has now made the switch to a different career path altogether as he has become an adult film star. On his adult film debut, Paim performed with two female stars Diana Melancia and Lyx. The former labelled the Portuguese as a "lion in bed" and said, via The Sun: "We thought he was going to be nervous and it wouldn't work out - but Fabio turned out to be a lion. He was good at football and he is good at porn. He's going to be a success. I hope this film is the first of many with Paim."

Paim said after his first performance: "It’s difficult being in front of the cameras but I did it and I think I have got talent for this. I got a lot of pleasure and made two dreams come true, making the film and being with two spectacular women."

It is likely that Paim will continue on with his adult film career and one can only hope that this career choice may float better than the footballing career did.
