FA sensationally urged to SACK Gareth Southgate before England's last-16 tie at Euro 2024 as former Premier League boss tipped to 'jump on plane tomorrow morning' and replace him

England qualified for the Euro 2024 round of 16 as group toppers despite their underwhelming efforts in a goalless draw against Slovenia on Tuesday. Southgate and his team have come under fire for below-par performances in all three of their group-stage matches.

Now Keys has joined the bandwagon as he went as far as claiming that the Football Association should consider sacking the coach with immediate effect and bring in former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp on a short-term basis ahead of their first knockout tie.

Speaking on beIN Sports, Keys said: "I’m so depressed, I thought that was so miserable once again tonight. I’m at a point where if I were able to make that decision, yes, I probably would because we are going nowhere double quick. We’re here to win it, that, what I’ve seen tonight, that’s not winning the next game, let alone the tournament.

"Harry Redknapp’s sat in Dubai tonight, give him a call. [Jurgen] Klopp won’t do it but Harry, you think he wouldn’t be on a plane tomorrow morning?"

The Three Lions could face one of Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine or Belgium in their Euro 2024 round of 16 clash on Sunday in Gelsenkirchen.
