Emily Fox to Arsenal confirmed?! Leaked image shows USWNT right-back in Gunners' winter training camp behind Leah Williamson & Beth Mead

The photo, which surfaced on Getty Images, a subscription-based photography platform, showed Gunners' stars Beth Mead and Leah Williamson holding hands with a third player in the background of the image. That other individual, sporting Arsenal training gear, was no other than rumored transfer target and USWNT star Fox herself.

Fox joining the Gunners will be the second USWNT star heading to the WSL this January window, with the other being Kristie Mewis, who landed at West Ham after making a transatlantic switch from Gotham FC. She'll look to bolster their defensive ranks while also providing competition for Katie McCabe, Noelle Maritz and Steph Catley.

Fox is a two-time She Believes Cup champion, winning the trophy in both 2022 and 2023.

Nothing is official until the clubs announce otherwise, but Fox and the Gunners appear to have struck a deal with the North Carolina Courage to send her over to England. The Gunners are next in action on Sunday, January 14 against Watford in the FA Cup.
