Gunners eyeing deal for full-back
Fox a United States women's national team international
Can play at right and left-back
WHAT HAPPENED?
Tim Stillman reports that the Gunners are closing in on a deal to sign Fox in the January transfer window. The full-back, who can play on the right or the left and was included in GOAL's National Women's Soccer League Team of the Season, has been a restricted free agent since the end of the campaign.
Arsenal's need for reinforcements has come into sharper focus after they failed to jump to the top of the WSL on Saturday, losing 1-0 to north London rivals Tottenham. Spurs had never won a derby against the Gunners in the top-flight, and made history in doing so.

WHAT NEXT FOR ARSENAL?
The Gunners have a break for a couple of weeks and return to action on January 14, in the Women's FA Cup against Watford. Their squad is likely to have a dramatically different look, and could include both Fox and Earps.
