David Beckham thanks Lionel Messi as Inter Miami co-owner celebrates MLS Supporters' Shield win - and sets 'one more' challenge

Inter Miami have posted the best regular season record in MLS, with Messi once again leading the charge when clear of injury. He has been ably assisted by the likes of Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba – with club co-owner Beckham helping to assemble a star-studded cast at Chase Stadium.

The Manchester United and England legend is reveling in more tangible success, after seeing Messi and Jorge Mas lead wild celebrations after a 3-2 victory away at the Columbus Crew. Beckham has sent a “Gracias” message to his former Barcelona contingent.

Inter Miami will not be settling for just one trophy in 2024, though, with the challenge now being to go on and land the MLS Cup. Premier League and Champions League winner Beckham is eager to see the Herons cross that line, adding on social media as Tata Martino’s side begin to count down the days to playoff action: “Big win. One more to go.”
