Cristiano Ronaldo sends touching Mother's Day message to partner Georgina Rodriguez and mum Dolores after bagging hat-trick for Al-Nassr in thumping win

While worldwide Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May, in Hungary, Lithuania, Portugal and South Africa, among others, it is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month. Ronaldo followed this tradition as he wished the two special mothers in his life well.

The Portuguese superstar posted the message on Instagram, along with a series of images and the caption: "Happy Mother’s Day to the best in the world."

Ronaldo has enjoyed a close relationship with mum Dolores and gifted her a Porsche Cayenne on her birthday in December. The Portugal international star has always made it clear how important family is to him as he raises his five children with Georgina.

On the field, the 39-year-old has not slowed down as he scored a hat-trick against Al-Wehda on Saturday and is the top scorer of the Saudi Pro League. He will next be in action when Al-Nassr take on Al-Akhdoud on May 11.
