Casemiro misses Man Utd's FA Cup final party as he jets off on holiday with family amid summer transfer talk

After featuring in Manchester United's previous 10 matches across all competitions, the Brazilian midfielder was dropped to the bench by Erik ten Hag in the FA Cup final against Manchester City on Saturday. The Brazilian picked up a late injury and was thusly removed from the matchday squad at the last minute as Willy Kambwala was named as his replacement.

After winning their only trophy of the season by edging out their rivals 2-1 at Wembley, the Red Devils stars headed out to celebrate their triumph. However, Casemiro did not join the rest of the squad in celebration and instead jetted off for a holiday with his wife and children.

The former Real Madrid star's wife Anna Mariana posted a family photograph from inside an aeroplane on her Instagram along with the caption: "Gone on vacation."

The 32-year-old has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer with Saudi Pro League clubs actively showing interest in signing him. It remains to be seen if United decide to cash-in on the player during the upcoming transfer window as they look to rebuild their squad ahead of the 2024-25 season.
