Bayern Munich still fighting Alphonso Davies battle! Bundesliga giants continue negotiations with left-back over new contract despite interest from Real Madrid and Manchester United

The Canadian full-back's current deal expires at the end of the season and Real Madrid have been linked with him for a long time. However, rivals Barcelona are also interested in signing Davies, while Manchester United have reportedly made him a top priority for next summer.

Bayern have made persuading Davies to stay in Munich their top priority, Florian Plettenberg reports, and they are in talks with the 24-year-old over a new deal. The player's agent recently said a new contract at Bayern is an option as he denied reports that an agreement with Madrid is already in place.

Bayern have identified possible replacements in case they fail to reach an agreement with Davies. AC Milan star Theo Hernandez is one reported option and another that United are said to be interested in.

Davies was caught up in controversy this week when he was reportedly banned from driving for a month ahead of his team's clash with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
