    The Gunners are in the market for more firepower during the January transfer window, with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz and Eddie Nketiah failing to convince at Emirates Stadium. Mikel Arteta wants another proven goalscorer in a bid to keep Premier League and Champions League title challenges on track.

    According to The Sun, with Arsenal being priced out of a move for £100m-rated Brentford striker Ivan Toney, attention in north London has turned to Getafe star Mayoral. An initial approach for the 26-year-old forward is said to have been rejected, with his current employers holding out for closer to £39m ($50m).
