The German-born United States international – who has six senior caps to his name – has agreed a two-year contract in Florida, and it set to bolster their defensive and offensive ranks with his versatility on the pitch.

Gressel is a two-time MLS Cup winner – having landed that prize with Atlanta United and Columbus Crew. He worked with Martino in Georgia and has also spent time with D.C. United and the Vancouver Whitecaps.
