Annie Kilner surprisingly misses Kyle Walker's AC Milan debut after flying out to Italy with their four children

Ahead of the Derby della Madonnina between AC Milan and Inter, the Manchester City loanee reunited with his wife Annie Kilner and their four children - Roman (11), Riaan (7), Reign (5), and baby Rezon (9 months). However, Kilner did not attend Walker's first game for the Serie A giants after flying out to Italy, according to The Sun.

The report adds that Kilner remained at the five-star Melia Milano Hotel, where Walker has been staying since moving to Milan. Despite the hotel being located only a short drive away from San Siro Stadium, Kilner did not travel to watch the derby live. She missed Walker walking onto the pitch in a new pair of boots with the birthdates of their children written on them.

Walker impressed on his debut as AC Milan played out a 1-1 draw with arch-rivals Inter, and some fans even compared him to club legend and Brazil icon Cafu. The Rossoneri came agonisingly close to victory after Tijjani Reijnders' first-half goal, but Stefan de Vrij equalised for Inter in second half stoppage time to ensure the derby spoils were shared.

Sergio Conceicao's Milan side will be back in action on Wednesday as they take on AS Roma in a difficult Coppa Italia quarter-final clash at home, with Walker likely to be in contention for a starting berth once again.
