    WHAT HAPPENED?

Childhood sweethearts Kilner and Walker wed in November 2021, but divorce proceedings were opened in August 2024. That move was made after it emerged that England international Walker had fathered a second child with former Love Island contestant Lauryn Goodman.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Walker faces losing half of his supposed £27 million ($35m) fortune if an official uncoupling is completed, but he is fighting to save his relationship. A loan transfer to AC Milan from Manchester City was agreed in the hope of starting afresh in Italy.

  • THE GOSSIP

More unfortunate headlines have been made there, with Kilner and her four children yet to uproot from the United Kingdom, but there has been another suggestion towards bridges being rebuilt. Kilner has used her married name for the first time in a business venture, with a social media post revealing that she is fronting a luxury jewellery range. The post read: "Demure. Founded by Annie Walker & Sophie Haynes."

  • WHAT A SOURCE SAID

A source has told The Sun of where Walker and Kilner stand at present, with the former being spotted on a night out with two women in Milan: "Annie was far from happy and made her feelings clear. Kyle denies anything went on and says he was asked to give the girls a lift. He’s clearly put himself in a difficult situation given his reputation. It’s the lack of thought for Annie and how it might look that has caused the upset."

It is claimed that Kilner and Walker are "in the best position" they have been for some time as they now work on "establishing themselves as a brand" on and off the football pitch. The Sun’s source added: "Kyle’s move to Italy has given the family time to take stock. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and it’ll either bring them closer together or confirm what many around them have thought for a long time."

  • WHAT NEXT?

Kilner has already made a couple of trips to Italy, while Walker has one more game to take in with Milan – against Cesc Fabregas’ Como on Saturday – before the March international break is reached. If he is not selected by new England boss Thomas Tuchel, then he will have free time to spend with his family.
