Andre Onana's going nowhere! Struggling goalkeeper's stance on Man Utd future revealed amid Ruben Amorim transfer plan

Although he has improved since his £47 million ($59m) arrival from Inter in the summer of 2023, Onana has still made a string of high-profile errors - including five this season. He was most recently under scrutiny after two embarrassing mistakes in the 3-2 victory over lowly Ipswich. Some sections of the club's support are growing weary of the stopper, but he has no intention of leaving, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The MEN reports that Amorim wants to sign a new goalkeeper in the summer as third-choice Tom Heaton is likely to retire and the mid-season Africa Cup of Nations means that Onana could spend significant time away from the club in 2025-26. Meanwhile, No.2 Altay Biyindir could head for pastures new in search of more first-team minutes.

There is currently no suggestion that Onana will leave with three years to run on his contract, as he only wants to play for United despite his struggles putting his future under the microscope. For what it's worth, Amorim has publicly defender his goalkeeper and the Cameroon international was improved in the FA Cup fifth-round defeat to Fulham on Sunday.

The Man Utd stopper will be determined to go for as long as possible without making another mistake, having seen confidence in his ability waver in recent times after a solid period.
