'Good chat...' - Alisha Lehmann mocks Lionesses star Jordan Nobbs and two other Aston Villa team-mates for falling asleep on coach journey to Sunderland for FA WSL Cup clash

Aston Villa star Alisha Lehmann has poked fun at her team-mates for dozing off on the trip to Sunderland in the FA WSL Cup.

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Lehmann and her Aston Villa team-mates are in Cup action on Wednesday. The Villans face Sunderland in matchday four of the competition, with Lehmann poking fun at Lionesses star Jordan Nobbs as well as team-mates Nelle Maritz and Adriana Leon on the way to the game. Lehmann showed off all three players asleep on the team bus on social media with the message "good chat."

    Aston Villa have won all three games in their group so far to sit top of the pile and will be aiming to maintain their perfect record against Sunderland. Lehmann's side will be favourites for victory against Championship opposition, although the Black Cats are also unbeaten in the group so far and can qualify automatically for the quarter-finals with a win. Villa need to just avoid defeat during the 90 minutes to progress to the next round.
