Surf's up! Alisha Lehmann hits the beach again with Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz after end of WSL season

Aston Villa stars Alisha Lehmann and Douglas Luiz have been relaxing on the beach after the end of the WSL and Premier League campaigns.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Power couple Lehmann and Luiz have been making the most of the short time they have away from the football pitch by posing for some photos on a beach in Brazil. The WSL season finished the day before the Premier League and the Swiss and Brazilian internationals are enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

Lehmann showed off a picture of the couple on a sandy beach in Brazil in front of some surfboards that were planted in the ground.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Lehmann and Luiz have both been valuable assets to Aston Villa this season. The former helped her side to a seventh-placed finish, scoring twice in 15 WSL appearances. Meanwhile, the latter was instrumental in helping the Villans secure Champions League football for the first time in over 30 years with a dominating campaign in midfield.

WHAT NEXT FOR LEHMANN AND LUIZ?
Lehmann and the Switzerland national team have two Euro 2025 qualifiers coming up in the next few weeks against Hungary. They will then take on Turkey and Azerbaijan in July. As for Luiz, he will be joining up with the Brazilian national team in the US as he prepares for the Copa America.
