Advantage Arsenal? Viktor Gyokeres' transfer stance revealed ahead of potential €90m Sporting CP exit

According to Correio da Manha, the Sweden international has 'already given a yes' to new Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta and wants to head to the Emirates. The report adds Berta has played a 'decisive role' in convincing the ex-Coventry City man to move to the Gunners.

Arsenal have been in desperate need of a striker for some time now as they seek to end their near 21-year wait for a Premier League title. The 26-year-old will not come on the cheap, however, as the report states Sporting expect to receive between €80-90 million (£68m/£76.5) for his services. Manha adds that Arsenal players could be used in a player-plus-cash deal.

Since moving to the Portugal giants, Gyokeres has scored a remarkable 86 goals and bagged 26 assists in just 93 appearances in all competitions.

Before Arsenal can submit a bid for the Sporting CP ace, Mikel Arteta's side take on Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals this week.
