Ranked 28th in the majors for homers and 43rd in RBIs, Bellinger brings a modest two-game hitting streak into the matchup. He’s hit just .211 over his last five games but still managed to notch a triple, a homer, and an RBI.

Paul Goldschmidt has been a steady presence at the plate as well, hitting .283 with 23 doubles, a triple, eight round-trippers, and 30 walks. Though he sits outside the top 150 in both home runs and RBIs, his consistency remains a quiet asset for New York. Anthony Volpe and Trent Grisham have chipped in too, Volpe is hitting .213 with 22 doubles and 14 homers, while Grisham’s .248 average includes 17 home runs and nine doubles.

Max Fried gets the ball for the Yanks and will look to bounce back from a rocky start against Toronto, where he was tagged for six runs (four earned) over 5.1 innings. Despite that outing, the veteran southpaw is enjoying a strong campaign. In 21 starts spanning 127.1 innings, he’s posted an 11-4 record with a stingy 2.62 ERA and 1.04 WHIP. Tampa Bay’s lineup is headlined by the powerful bat of Junior Caminero, who’s launched 27 home runs and driven in 70, both team highs. Caminero currently ranks sixth in all of baseball in homers and 13th in RBIs, making him one of the league’s premier power threats. Yandy Díaz is doing his part as well, batting .283 with 18 homers and 19 doubles.
