Big Ten action heats up on Saturday as the Michigan Wolverines (4-2) welcome the Washington Huskies (5-1) to Michigan Stadium.
Washington is coming into this matchup riding high after a 38-19 home victory over Rutgers last Friday, a win that pushed them into a tie for fourth in the Big Ten standings at 2-1 in conference play.
Michigan, on the other hand, is looking to bounce back after a tough 31-13 road loss to USC last weekend. Despite the setback, the Wolverines also sit at 2-1 in Big Ten play, sharing that same fourth-place spot in the conference race.

Michigan Injury Update: Star running back Justice Haynes is nursing a midsection injury and is listed as questionable for Saturday’s showdown with Washington.
Washington Huskies team news
On the other side, Demond Williams continues to be the engine of Washington’s offense, putting together an impressive campaign with 1,628 passing yards and a sharp 10-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio. He’s also been dangerous on the ground, racking up 382 rushing yards and four scores, all while completing an eye-popping 74.1% of his throws and averaging 5.2 yards per carry.
He’s far from alone in the Huskies’ attack. Senior running back Jonah Coleman has been a dual-threat force, piling up 518 yards on 96 carries and adding 243 receiving yards with 12 total touchdowns. Out wide, junior Denzel Boston has hauled in 30 passes for 444 yards and six touchdowns, while freshman standout Dezmen Roebuck has emerged as a big-play option with 331 yards and two scores on just 18 catches.

Their pass defense sits at 85th (235.3 YPG), but they’re elite against the run, ranking eighth in the nation while giving up just 83.2 rushing yards per game.
Washington Injury Update: The Huskies will likely remain without starting offensive linemen Carver Willis (knee), John Mills (foot), and edge rusher Zach Durfree (elbow), all of whom have missed time and are not expected to suit up against Michigan.
