Alexander Isak's compatriot Robin Nelson says he stands by the Newcastle forward after he made his spat with the Magpies public with a bombshell statement on Tuesday. Isak claimed in his long rant that his relationship with the Magpies is over as his stand-off with them continues regarding a possible transfer to Liverpool this summer. Isak is no longer part of Eddie Howe's first team and his training alone.

Several Premier League fans took to social media to slam the striker's attitude as they labelled his gesture as disrespectful. Isak's Sweden team-mate Robin Olsen, however, came to the striker's defence as the goalkeeper claimed that the entire Magpies episode had not affected their friendship.
WHAT OLSEN SAID
Speaking to Fotboll Skanalen, Olsen said: "I’m not familiar with it, so I don’t actually have much to say about it. Not for me, absolutely not. He’s a very good friend so no, it’s nothing that affects our friendship."
