WHAT HAPPENED? After scoring the first with his head, the former NYCFC MLS Cup winner scampered behind the Madrid backline for a sumptuous second. He timed his run to perfection, shrugged off Eder Militao, and guided his strike through the legs of backup goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

Then, in the second half, he swept a centered pass beyond Lunin in the 46th minute and beat Militao in the air to make it four goals.
