In Chelsea's UEFA Women's Champions League match against FC Twente on Wednesday, U.S. international Catarina Macario bagged her first goal in the competition for the Blues - and her first in more than years since she won the final in 2022 with French side Lyon.
The USWNT striker, after a bit of pinball in the box, managed to strike home a close-range volley to hand the Blues an early 1-0 lead in the match just two minutes into the contest.
Notably, though, she's started to find herself on the pitch more of late, and is nearing her best form once again. In 135 minutes this WSL season, she has one goal and two assists across five appearances, while Wednesday marked her second UWCL cameo of the season.
