The United States international got the ball on the right side of Monza's box and made space for himself before lashing it into the top corner to make it 2-2, having already provided a headed assist for Olivier Giroud to halve his team's deficit.

Pulisic's goal appeared to have secured a vital point for the Rossoneri, but Monza managed to blast in a 90th minute goal and make it 3-2. There was hope for Milan when the goal was reviewed by VAR, but it was allowed to stand in the end. Incredibly, Monza went on to score another goal to make it 4-2 and secure the three points.
