WATCH: USMNT's Haji Wright scores extra time equalizer for Coventry against Josh Sargent's Norwich to seal draw

  • Coming through in the clutch

Norwich initially stunned Coventry with Mathias Kvistgaarden scoring against the run of play in the 17th minute to put the Canaries up 1-0. Coventry dominated the visitors in every attacking stat, but couldn't find a way past the opposition's defense - shooting 28 times in the game.

In the final second of stoppage time, Wright took advantage of Norwich's inability to clear the ball out of the box and toe-poked his shot into the goal to ensure Coventry a split of the points.

    Breaking down the stats

Wright's goal was deserved considering the shift he put in throughout the match. He won six duels, had five shots, and created a goal-scoring opportunity. It was his fifth goal in his last four matches.

On the other end, it was a quiet afternoon for Sargent. The striker, who had won the Championship's Player of the Month award for a sizzling August, had just one shot and one completed dribble against Coventry.
