‘Relaxing the mind, relaxing the body’ - Alisha Lehmann chills in hot tub and sauna as Aston Villa star enjoys break from WSL action

The Swiss star kicked off the festive period by soaking in a hot tub and unwinding in a sauna. Sharing the images on Instagram, Lehmann wrote: "Relaxing the mind, relaxing the body".

The 24-year-old is recuperating after the opening half of the Women's Super League season. The forward has featured in six league matches for Aston Villa, who sit ninth in the table - four points ahead of bottom sides Bristol City and West Ham.

Before making the trip to the sauna, Lehmann went home over the winter break and paid a visit to a special needs school that her younger sister attends in Switzerland, where she handed out gifts to the children.

Lehmann will continue to rest over the winter period before the WSL campaign resumes next month. Villa are back in action on January 13 when they take on Everton in the FA Cup at the Poundland Bescot Stadium. They then get back to WSL action with a game against Leicester on January 21.
